What is Virgin Hair & what’s our hair so different?
- Virgin hair is chemically unprocessed human hair, (the donor could be Indian, Malaysian, Brazilian, etc). With virgin hair, you have to care for it just like your own natural hair; shampoo, condition.
- When hair is properly cared for our hair can last up to 1-2 years.
HOW MUCH HAIR DO I NEED?
- The amount of hair depends on personal preference but we suggest for a full sew-in weave would need approximately 8 to 10 ounces of hair. We recommend buying 2 bundles of hair for lengths 10” to 16”. We recommend 3 bundles for lengths 16”- 22″. Lengths 22” and up we recommend 4 bundles to achieve thickness. Each bundles weighs 3. 5 ounces. Customers must keep in mind that since the hair is sold by total weight the rule is: “The longer the hair, more hair is usually needed because of shorter wefts.
CAN I COLOR THIS HAIR?
- This is 100% virgin human hair that has not been processed is not processed in anyway. You can color the hair, however once hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin. Be sure to keep color treated hair conditioned and moisturized.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL TEXTURES:
- Shampoo regularly
- Use a shampoo no higher than pH7
- Do NOT massage
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
- Apply conditioner, comb through with a wide tooth comb, starting with the ends working your way up you scalp
- Rinse thoroughly
- Let air dry
Wet & wavy
- DAILY MAINTENANCE: Use styling products minimally to avoid build up
- For Wavy & Curly hair use a spray bottle of water for natural look
- For a “WET” look, we suggest a leave in conditioner & water
- AVOID ALCOHOL BASED PRODUCTS TO AVOID DRYING OUT YOUR INVESTMENT!
- Dampen hair with a water bottle
- Comb through (wide tooth comb) beginning at the ends and working your way up to your scalp
- Scrunch up hair gently to reform curls
- Let air dry
Can your hair be dyed, flat ironed, bleached?
- Yes, but remember because it is human hair use a heat protector with any heat tools and take caution when bleaching. Bleaching the hair may cause a small amount thermal loosening to the curl pattern.
